We liked the size and look of this shed for storing seasonal outdoor chairs and tables. Assembly took about 4 hours including a rain delay. Once we got the floor assembled the rest of it went pretty easily except for the roof which was a real challenge. We ended up securing two corners inside then tucking the rest of it in, otherwise we would get it tucked in and it would come out. Also the door panel had a small dent which I don't think will affect the durability but a little disappointing to have some damage on it. I received my shed and I love it, however, the two guys who put it together said that a lot of the parts were dented, but usable, and also about 20 screws were missing. Wayfair contracted the assembly out to Angi and when they sent the first “professional”, he tried doing it by himself and completely damaged the shed. When I called Wayfair, they sent replacement parts and the parts never showed up (they shipped them to the wrong address). Wayfair then sent a replacement shed, but I had to take down the old one (as they said they don’t do demo work). Angi finally sent two new techs to perform the install of the new shed and it went better. However, from when I ordered the shed to when the second one got installed, it was over a month.. Nicholas. This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. I was on the fence about purchasing online based on reviews about the arrival of the shipment being damaged by some others. But after we got out of the box and evaluated everything look to be in good shape. I used a caulking gun with liquid nails along with all of the hardware kit to put it together so it is pretty sturdy for what it is . That being said my wife is happy so therefore I got off fairly inexpensively for a local alternative of a tool shed for $2000. Best to have two people or three people to make sure everything lines up and just take your time and we put it together within less than two hours with the caulking gun of liquid nails.. Greg. Was way easier to put together than I expected from reading other reviews. Also I was able to get every single hole to line up unlike all of the other people too. Maybe thats because Im a female - 37 yr old female who put this together alone. I found not separating the plastic washer part from the row easier to do rather than trying to hold onto the washer and screw I just held the washer next over (see random picture showing what I mean). I havent put the doors on, but dont expect an issue. Im looking forward to how this holds up in Denver, CO. Another thing is there seems to be a clear plastic over all of the metal parts, the manual didnt say if youre supposed to take those off. My husband and I have been working on it intermittently, and the instructions are clear enough that we can pick up where the other leaves off. A drill helps, as will a tall stepladder.
