Really nice storage shed and I’m very happy with the overall quality and design. Assembly was pretty straightforward, but the only problem was that there were not enough SPG-20 screws included. They provided around 30 screws, but you really need 60 or more to complete the installation properly. I had to stop in the middle of assembly and go to a hardware store to purchase additional screws. Got this to make into a chicken coop and it exceeded my expectations. I was able to build it solo without the help of my husband. I did run into some challenging steps however I was able to troubleshoot what needed to be done when the instructions were lacking. Overall, I think that it is pretty good. We liked the size and look of this shed for storing seasonal outdoor chairs and tables. Assembly took about 4 hours including a rain delay. Once we got the floor assembled the rest of it went pretty easily except for the roof which was a real challenge. We ended up securing two corners inside then tucking the rest of it in, otherwise we would get it tucked in and it would come out. Also the door panel had a small dent which I don't think will affect the durability but a little disappointing to have some damage on it. I am so impressed with the quality of this shed. I was concerned about assembling it, but it was so easy! I ordered the shed in grey…it arrived on time and my handyman and I put it together in about 4 hours. It was a bit overwhelming but I am happy with the result. The floor was not very sturdy but my handyman solved that by putting treated wood below it and now it is very sturdy. In addition we used the hardware included and drilled it into the concrete slab we made for it to stand on. Patience is a virtue - I was able to put this shed together by myself in about 10 hours. Picture instructions were 90% adequate however there were some steps I had to really focus on the drawings to determine where the pieces fit - inside/outside position grooves. Some of the screw instructions were not as clear as I would have liked. Definitely use a drill to help screws go in cleanly and keep closer to the outer edges to ensure screws actually go into walls. Having a second pair of hands during the wall & roof installation would have been less taxing physically. Screws for door hinges have no spares and as 2 of the 24 provided did not fit really well and I ended up stripping one of them and the other was only able to tighten half way I would have like the floor to be a bit firmer than it is. And the sizing is more 4.5 ft x 2.5 ft which was a bit of let down as I wanted to fit my current shelving units on both sides. I also would have liked a middle roof bracket to give it more stability for the door opening, plus I think it would have helped make the roof installation a bit easier.. Christine. North Saanich, BC. Here is my review of the Patiowell 8x8 Resin Storage Shed. First, Wayfair made the entire purchasing process seamless. Their website was easy to navigate, customer service was professional, and the FedEx deliveries (which arrived in two separate shipments) were handled quickly and efficiently. The shed arrived in five large boxes, and the FedEx delivery driver handled everything with care by placing the boxes neatly in the driveway. I was impressed with the thoughtful packaging. The components were securely protected with layers of Styrofoam, cardboard, and plastic straps to prevent damage during shipping. The shed itself feels sturdy, durable, and solid. Once all of the parts were organized, the instructions became easy to follow during construction. This project definitely requires two people, as many sections need to be assembled on the ground and then lifted into place. Once the base floor is completed, the rest of the build flows together step-by-step, including the walls, frame, roof, and doors. For tools and preparation, I highly recommend having a cordless drill, painter’s tape, extra bolts, and caulking for sealing the seams. Overall, assembling the shed was challenging and took about six hours to complete. Patience, organization, and a few extra supplies are essential for a smooth installation.
