This is a a great storage shed if you have bulky stuff or things like bicycles that you would need to store. It does not weigh 5 tons, but it also feels sturdy enough for outdoor storage. What I would have improved for this unit is, you have to drill some of the holes yourself (specially those for the small screws). In essence, they don't even have a "mini-hole mark" or something that guides your drilling. You basically have to eye-ball it. Also, the holes on some of the brackets are super small and you almost have to force the screws into them. Five stars because its perfect for towels etc but its not built for outside because if it rains the water would go through the holes in the doors and the tools and other items would be rusted and the wood would probably rot out eventually. There were no reviews on this but I decided to purchase it anyway for our back porch. I wanted something to set beside my grill to store tools and other items. This will live under a covered porch. It is real wood, pine. The pine scent is almost overwhelming when you take it out of the box lol. This is very lightweight. The one door had no holes drilled for the handle so I had to do that myself. Also had to cut a notch in the shelf since it did not fit correctly. I used wood glue and the provided screws and it did sturdy up. This was one of the cheaper ones that I found on the site and overall I am happy with it. I think it will serve its purpose and I do like that it’s real wood and not the fake press board. The metal top is just a sheet over a piece of wood but I think it will be just fine.. Seth. Great at first cute, nice feel, beautiful wood texture, but its cheap and poorly produced. Because the wood is very sensitive and not strong, it starts to wobble after you move it around a couple of times, or just after a couple years - especially if you dont empty it first before mixing. Decent storage cabinet and will work for what I need it for. The shelving seems sturdy enough . The doors catch pretty badly on the center and they are a little hard to open. The handles are very shallow and extremely difficult to use. It looks like there is an option to add more hardware but it didn’t come with the kit.
