Works well for mostly used items. I wish I had of gotten the dark grey instead of stone color. I definitely need a bigger one for holding totes. This is a nice looking shed. It is sturdy and fits quite a lot of items. It is not too tall and has good width dimensions. The assembly was pretty straightforward except that about one half of the pieces for assembly had a plastic film on them that had to be removed which was a little cumbersome. I ordered the shed in grey…it arrived on time and my handyman and I put it together in about 4 hours. It was a bit overwhelming but I am happy with the result. The floor was not very sturdy but my handyman solved that by putting treated wood below it and now it is very sturdy. In addition we used the hardware included and drilled it into the concrete slab we made for it to stand on. This Balconera shed with window is ok. It is very thin metal, including the frame. If they would just use a heavier gage metal for the frame I think it would make it a five star for the price. Patience is a virtue - I was able to put this shed together by myself in about 10 hours. Picture instructions were 90% adequate however there were some steps I had to really focus on the drawings to determine where the pieces fit - inside/outside position grooves. Some of the screw instructions were not as clear as I would have liked. Definitely use a drill to help screws go in cleanly and keep closer to the outer edges to ensure screws actually go into walls. Having a second pair of hands during the wall & roof installation would have been less taxing physically. Screws for door hinges have no spares and as 2 of the 24 provided did not fit really well and I ended up stripping one of them and the other was only able to tighten half way I would have like the floor to be a bit firmer than it is. And the sizing is more 4.5 ft x 2.5 ft which was a bit of let down as I wanted to fit my current shelving units on both sides. I also would have liked a middle roof bracket to give it more stability for the door opening, plus I think it would have helped make the roof installation a bit easier.. Christine. North Saanich, BC. The building is a nice and convenient storage shed. It took one man about 10 hours to construct and I did not put the overhang on as I am using it as a chicken brooder. The construction was straight forward but there were parts where 2 people were necessary (the instruction manual tells you when this is necessary). Be careful as the edges of the metal building are sharp and can cut you easily. We live on a ridge and get periodic high winds. I will have to reinforce this building to keep it from blowing away, but that would be the case with all buildings like this.
