I purchased my shed in October. Unfortunately with the weather change I could not have it assembled until early April, come to find out the included T lock is defective and does not lock the shed. Because I am past the 30 day product window, I am told there is no resolve from company, so I have to purchase a lock to replace and have handyman return. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. This shed was super easy to assemble. I am a 5' 3" 67 year old female and it took me an hour and 45 minutes to complete. Approximately 15 minutes of that was sorting and verifying parts. The instructions suggested two people to assemble floor, and that probably would have helped, but I was able to do it myself. My foundation was already in place. Getting the sides to slide into the slots properly required a rubber mallet. Finished product holds my self-propelled snow blower and my Snow Joe battery operated snow blower with extra room.. Terry. We didn’t have much wiggle room with the intended space so we were a little irritated when the length was over 4 inches longer than the dimensions said. We made it work and it came out nicely. They give you a general step by step, but it could definitely use more detail. It took my husband and I 4 hours to assemble this. We unfortunately have not been able to assemble our storage shed yet solely due to the weather in Ohio at the moment. BUT I can say that this shipped FAST I was absolutely not expecting that for such a large item. I took off one star solely because assembling this is more than likely going to be tedious annoying since there are approximately 900 bazillion pieces. It is very heavy and will require a dolly to avoid any back strain if you are ripe and old like myself at age 31. The siding and materials that we have unpacked seem like heavy duty quality and not flimsy which is wonderful! Will definitely update my review once the weather clears up and we can put it together!.
