Such a great product! It is REAL wood…not MDF or particle board. I was planning to paint it to go with my backsplash, so painting was easy. It is exactly as pictured and really great quality. The only thing I was unsure about was the black quartz. I was terrified it would have white veining…not what I wanted in my kitchen. When it arrived, it is a lighter brownish color…perfect for my design. Hey Wayfair…take a picture of the quartz, so people know what they’re getting! We are REALLY happy with our island! It’s a substantial piece of furniture. I like the color and I like the dimensions. I wish that it had come in one piece and not had to be put together, but I’m sure it was too big to ship. My only other qualm is the drawers… They’re not soft close and you have to push them in and then give them another hard push to get them to close completely. I am so happy with this Kitchen cart! It is always scary ordering something on line, not knowing the quality. But I was really impressed when it arrived. The wood is solid, easy to put together....I had one small issue with a door...but I contacted CS of the company who makes/distributes this cart...and they shipped out a new door the next day. Wanted others to know, that if they have an issue, it will most likely be taken care of. Contact info is in the instruction pamphlet. Highly recommend this cart, and I am not easy to please :-) I am uploading a photo, excuse the walls we are still needing to do trim/molding work.
