Easy to assemble and overall satisfied with the island. Took away a star because one of the side panels was broken when removing it from the box I had to glue it and wait for the glue to dry before assembling. This cart is just the right size for a small “kitchen island” it’s a landing spot when I’m pulling multiple items out of the refrigerator and a good place to set up drinks or plates and utensils when we are entertaining. We installed the wheels instead of the bun feet so we can move it out of the kitchen when needed. I’m using it to store cutting boards, baking pans and containers for leftovers. I assembled it myself, (but could have should have used some help lifting the stone onto the cart. It’s HEAVY.) The counter top came a few days before the rest, well packaged and protected during shipping. The cart was also delivered safely and problem free in a big box. We like this cart but the granite top is not secured to the bottom half of the island. Also, the cabinet doors don't close properly so we've tried to adjust the hinges and one side is fine but we can't seem to get the other side to close without the doors rubbing each other. Nice quality piece of furniture. The granite top looks darker online, but like another customer stated, could be just the differences in the natural granite. Mine was more of a light cream colored. I purchased the kitchen island in the European Cherry, and it smells like it was just stained prior to it being shipped. It is beautiful and worth every penny! I am using it as a coffee station. What you don't see in these pictures, because I have this up against a wall, is that there is another set of cabinet doors on the other side so that you can get to the cabinet on either side of this kitchen island. Got it in the Natural as it was closest to my existing oak kitchen cabinets. Great price. I did replace the handles on the doors & drawers right away with something nicer that helped it blend better with my existing cabinetry and pulls. Really helped to extend my little kitchen and took the place of a hodgepodge of furniture I had previously. Handy Man put it together ( my days of being good at that have passed) in good time.
