I've had this island for a few years now and constantly get compliments on it. It looks way more expensive than expected, especially for the price. The delivery was fast and all the pieces for assembly were in good condition. The top wood surface has been used daily and has held up nicely as well as the doors to the cabinets below. Pros: Durable, beautiful color, perfect size for our kitchen, and plenty of storage, both hidden and open. We get lots of compliments on how well this matches our kitchen. Cons: I remember this taking a lot of time to put together, probably 3-4 hours. Bought this and used it in my space rental kitchen for about 4 years. The doors shifted with weight from lid holder I installed on it, so wouldnt do that. My kids plowed a toy broom thru the back, so I wouldnt suggest letting the back be exposed if you can help it. Top was very sturdy and wheels were helpful. The grey was a little bluer than expected and the counter top much yellower. It was definitely but the easiest thing I have ever put together. It took all afternoon. But the storage space in it is more than adequate and it suits our purpose. My husband thinks the flip up part of the countertop should have had more than one support.
