Assembly was moderate, however there is an imbalance if you leave the wheels on the bottom as instructed. We opted to remove wheels altogether and will just have to manually lift the island to place elsewhere if needed.
The countertop extension is a genius idea. We love being able to drop it back out of the way when not in use. Now we just need to find some stools.!
The material is fantastic for the most part. The only drawback back in my opinion is that the back boards, closest to where people sitting at the extension would be, are really thin and likely to break if someone accidentally kicks it.
