I've had this island for a few years now and constantly get compliments on it. It looks way more expensive than expected, especially for the price. The delivery was fast and all the pieces for assembly were in good condition. The top wood surface has been used daily and has held up nicely as well as the doors to the cabinets below. Pros: Durable, beautiful color, perfect size for our kitchen, and plenty of storage, both hidden and open. We get lots of compliments on how well this matches our kitchen. Cons: I remember this taking a lot of time to put together, probably 3-4 hours. Overall, a beautiful island once you get it put together. That is why I reduced rating from 5 to 4 stats. The instructions were just pictures and while some were expanded pictures, very difficult to figure out some areas. In addition, some pieces I had to reverse...maybe it was me but once I did that, things fit correctly.
