We're using this shelving unit to add more storage in our open kitchen. It's very convenient in that it has it's own power outlet and outlets for charging cables. As this shelf will be placed in front of a kitchen outlet, this works out well because we don't need to reach through or behind the shelving unit to plug in our appliances and chargeable items.
