8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It has plenty of space, is aesthetically pleasing, and gives my kitchen the luxury upgrade I desire. It has two drawers that don’t have the lock when you extend it, so I have to be careful when opening it. I even added books where some would put spices, so I am loving the dual purpose. Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. Beautiful and Functional Kitchen Island I’m very happy with the overall look and functionality of this kitchen island. It feels sturdy, provides helpful storage, and the drop leaf gives us extra counter space when needed without taking up too much room. The size works well in our kitchen, and it has made the space feel more organized and complete. There were a few small dents and scratches on the tabletop, which was disappointing for a brand-new item. This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. I gave it four stars because the trash bin drawer is a little shaky so we added L brackets to give a little more stability to the drawer. Overall I think this was a great purchase.. Sandra.
