Would recommend this product 810 Assembly was moderate, however there is an imbalance if you leave the wheels on the bottom as instructed. We opted to remove wheels altogether and will just have to manually lift the island to place elsewhere if needed. The countertop extension is a genius idea. We love being able to drop it back out of the way when not in use. Now we just need to find some stools.! The material is fantastic for the most part. The only drawback back in my opinion is that the back boards, closest to where people sitting at the extension would be, are really thin and likely to break if someone accidentally kicks it. We’ve had this white kitchen island for a couple of years now, and it has held up really well in our kitchen. The quality is great, and it’s still in excellent condition with regular everyday use. It has three storage shelves and three drawers, which provide plenty of space for kitchen essentials. We opted not to install the shelf on the side because we wanted to save space, and we’ve been very happy with that choice. The wheels make it easy to move when needed, while still being practical and sturdy. Overall, it’s a great-quality island that has been both functional and durable for our kitchen. I was a little skeptical because this Kitchen Island was fairly inexpensive. I opted to pay to have it assembled and that was done today. I love it. It has as much space as i hoped since it was only 43" long and the cabinets and drawers are ample size to hold a lot of kitchen items. This is so much more useful than the table and chairs for two that I had there before. The Island is sturdy, attractive and versatile. The stools are very comfortable. My only complaint is that before ordering I called Wayfair customer service to find out if I could purchase the item but delay delivery. The person i spoke to assured me that as soon as I had a tracking number I could contact Fed Ex and reschedule. I got the tracking number too late to stop the delivery which came in two days instead of three as noted on the order. Most people would not complain about this but I had a flight the day of delivery; luckily it arrived before I had to leave for the airport.
