Would recommend this product 810 Assembly was moderate, however there is an imbalance if you leave the wheels on the bottom as instructed. We opted to remove wheels altogether and will just have to manually lift the island to place elsewhere if needed. The countertop extension is a genius idea. We love being able to drop it back out of the way when not in use. Now we just need to find some stools.! The material is fantastic for the most part. The only drawback back in my opinion is that the back boards, closest to where people sitting at the extension would be, are really thin and likely to break if someone accidentally kicks it. Beautiful. Arrives in a single 100lb box, likely torn. Top does not connect in any way. There are four small foam feet to prevent scratches when sliding... But that's it. Side storage counter literally floats on top of wood block cabinet and if moved far enough apart, it will smash to the ground because its on wheels. When installing prepare to leave the room as if you just painted four walls as the off gas is apparent for three or four days, don't forget to leave the cabinet doors open. Love the blue. I love this island!! So much storage!! And the power strip is awesome!! The color of the countertop didn’t work so I wrapped it with a peel stick marble look countertop vinyl paper. I recently got this kitchen island, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a great addition to my space.
