This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. I gave it four stars because the trash bin drawer is a little shaky so we added L brackets to give a little more stability to the drawer. Overall I think this was a great purchase.. Sandra. We opted not to install the shelf on the side because we wanted to save space, and we’ve been very happy with that choice. The wheels make it easy to move when needed, while still being practical and sturdy. Overall, it’s a great-quality island that has been both functional and durable for our kitchen. This Island is absolutely beautiful! It is very well made and my mother couldn’t be happier with it. We paid 129.00 to have it put together and the gentleman did an excellent job. The only disappointment was the man said he only gets 40.00 for his work. I think that is shameful. Very easy to put together with only one person. Stores quite a bit. When the leaf is extended, you have a nice, large workspace. Drawers are fairly deep, but are just a little bit too short to store ladles and other slightly longer kitchen utensils. My husband took his time putting it together and it went smoothly. What helped is I copied some of the different pictures that were shown of this island, and it helped him see what went where. The design features larger cabinets great for storing pots, pans, and small electronics (think a hand mixer), as well as two drawers for utensils, measuring cups, and more. We love that the counter measures nearly 18'' deep, but can extend up to 30'' with the extendable leaf. Plus, either end has a towel rack, and it comes with removable caster wheels that also lock in place.

Very satisfied with this rolling bamboo kitchen island. I am extremely particular about my purchases and chose this one based on the real wood construction and the exact dimensions I needed to fit flush in height and width at the end of my kitchen island in my new condo and it was one of the only islands I could find in the correct size that had all the drawers I was wanting. It is constructed of solid bamboo for majority with MDF shelves and extra parts. The stainless steel top is in perfect condition and the whole unit was packed extremely well. It took 3-4 hours for my handy husband to assemble the many pieces by himself. Instructions were very clear and all parts and hardware were present with quite a few extra pieces leftover. The hinges on the doors take some fiddling with to get doors aligned correctly. We used an allen wrench with a handle grip that came with another product and a ratchet screwdriver to make assembly easier. The drawers open and close smoothly. We left the spice rack/knife block off because of space constraints. There are small predrilled holes where that unit attached but I'll cover those with some small plastic plugs and will be hardly noticeable. The wheels roll smoothly. This is a well designed island and is constructed in a durable way. We just assembled a couple days ago so only time will tell how it holds up but I feel positive that it will be an excellent piece for storage and extra counter space and should last a good long while..
