Love this! I have a small kitchen and wanted an island I could use as a table. I looked at several before deciding on this one for the following reasons: 1. Drop leaf supported by solid brackets. 2. Trashcan door. 3. Fake marble top is more moisture-proof than others I looked at. 4. Locking wheels. 5. I didn't need an outlet on it. I put this together by myself (f,70). It took me most of a day as I leisurely assembled it. Instructions were good. I had one set of drawer slides backwards, but easily fixed. Piece (#37), that paper towel brackets go on, has holes different distances from the edges. Since you put this piece on while the table is upside down, the holes closest to the edges go closer to the floor (the top of the table). I had it backwards and the trashcan door hit the paper towel roll whenever I opened it. I was able to take things apart and flip it over. I had a little trouble getting the top seated properly, but with some pushing of the posterboard-like pieces (#14/#15), it slipped into place in the slot on the top. The bottom hinged door is slow close! I love having the extra storage space. It's very solid. I bought 2 bar stools to go with it. I couldn't be happier. The only con I've found is finding a trashcan to fit it. Still looking.. Barbara. Muncie, IN. Fri Jun 26 2026

I would have given this island 5 stars , even with the little scratches, after all it came from China, eventually to my house in non broken pieces. And there probably wouldn’t have been any scratches if the green paint wasn’t so thin . The design is very nice, the engineering is impressive, all the holes lined up perfectly , unit fit together well, Instructions were pretty clear. The major thing was the back of the island , it is 4 very thin panels that were held together by sliding the panels up into a little black strip. Some one sitting on that side eventually would swing a foot into to it , don’t know about holding together, we’ll see . It is nice , nice color good instructions well engineered, every hole matched perfectly, which in today’s world, is pretty good. I’m not sorry I purchased it .. Mary. Tampa, FL. Tue Jun 02 2026

Phew took a long time to put together. Although to be fair, I did it alone. I also installed casters underneath so that I could roll it around the kitchen or push it against the wall with the leaf down when I want some extra space. I do wish it was possible to put the handle on the other side, because it’s awkward in my kitchen and there’s no good place to turn it around and still have access to the drawerscabinets. Such a great product! It is REAL wood…not MDF or particle board. I was planning to paint it to go with my backsplash, so painting was easy. It is exactly as pictured and really great quality. The only thing I was unsure about was the black quartz. I was terrified it would have white veining…not what I wanted in my kitchen. When it arrived, it is a lighter brownish color…perfect for my design. Hey Wayfair…take a picture of the quartz, so people know what they’re getting! We are REALLY happy with our island! Our kitchen island can meet all your needs.

This kitchen cart has everything you need. Its perfect to add a little extra storage and counter space without taking up too much room. The size is just right, it’s compact enough to fit in my smaller kitchen yet spacious enough to hold a surprising amount of kitchen essentials. Theres plenty of room for my extra pots, pans, utensils, and I finally have a dedicated space for my coffee maker and toaster. The countertop area is sturdy and adds much-needed prep space. The wheels make it super easy to move around and pull out to use the drop-leaf and have extra counter space to eat. Also love the hidden trash can! Overall very happy with this purchase.. Alyssa.
