I needed to camouflage my large concrete septic tank lid which sits below a portion of deck. It puts out tremendous light. I bought the 71” version but it swayed waaay too much. I removed two poke sections and inserted pvc pipe inside it to hold it steady. Would have given it five stars if the poke didn’t sway.. Debra. Roseburg, OR. Thu Sep 10 2026

Wow the quality is so nice on these. They are made of metal and glass, unlike most solar options. They are beautiful and provide extra light in my driveway at night. With the rise of electricity cost, I’m opting for solar options whenever possible. The base is a little too large to fit on a standard fence post sadly, but buying longer screws allowed me to still install them. I’d get these again, highly recommend.. Lincey. Auburn, ME. Solid construction. Plenty of lead wire which is made copper and good thickness. Be sure to have a magnetic tip screw driver as the screws holding the top in are small. Simple three wire connection, wires are marked for ease of connections. I installed on pre existing 120 volt wired posts. They look awesome. Furnished with three 40 watt daylight bulbs might turn out to be a bit much for my neighborhood, but with the magnetic tip screwdriver for the screws, decreasing the bulb wattage won’t be an issue. Built-in photocell sensor automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn. Includes a pier mount for flat-surface installation; can also be installed with a post mount (post not included). Rated for wet locations, it is an ideal choice for porches, garages, driveways, and verandas.

Loving the simplicity and clean lines of this outdoor light. I chose to install it on a post in my front yard but it also comes with all of the materials needed for installation on a base. I feel like it can match up with various styles from farmhouse to transitional to modern. It has an eye on it, so it goes on and off with the sun. My last post light stopped working after less than a year because of the way it was constructed and water seeped in. I don't feel that will be the case with this one however. The top is solid and overhangs the bottom, so water should drain off and there are holes at the bottom just in case any water does seep in. Hoping this lasts for years to come.. Julia. IL.
