This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. Only thing I would change would be an option for an off/motion on mode rather than just low light/bright motion. Love that we can put it anywhere we need more light.. Robert. Leroy, OH. Do not use any solvent for cleaning, and be careful not to put too much pressure on the solar panels while cleaning. Really unique- we looked at hundreds of fixtures before we found these, and nothing came close to what we wanted. We live right on the beach, so corrosion is a huge problem with metal fixtures.
