This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. Only thing I would change would be an option for an off/motion on mode rather than just low light/bright motion. Love that we can put it anywhere we need more light.. Robert. Leroy, OH. Very tall and nice looking post. I was shocked by the exterior shell material, I expected it to be a bit thicker but instead it was thinner plastic. The inside post was heavy duty. So after fooling with this lamp post for ever, we finally got it together. The directions are horrible. That’s why I gave it a four stars. I had to go onto YouTube and figure out how to put this together so throw the instructions away people. It’s really tall nice lamp post it turns on at night but we just got it together so we didn’t have it charged up it’s more of a fake steel.
