Okay so, I think it’s a good light post. It’s light weight, I can pick it up to move it. It’s not heavy so it must be a mixture of plastic and metal I don’t like how the screw in the top that holds the lights is different widths. As you can see in the picture, Could be something done wrong on my part. I added a picture with the instructions. It shows it needs to on a concrete bottom. It would be better if it was a solar light instead of a wired one. This will be installed once the building on our new house is completed. I’m impressed with this dusk to dawn outdoor lamp post. It wasn’t very hard to put together, and seems good quality. The problem I foresee is someone with no electrical experience trying to put it together and install it. My husband is an electrician, and I’m glad. I am using this on my deck. Inside a large pot on a post. I will be planting a climbing vine in the pot. It is beautiful. It was a bit of a crafting project, but it turned out very nice.
