Brought this to replace lamp post we had over ten years that was in a planter they recommend not using the easy mount made for single heads but i did any ways install was easy and the lamp stayed upright with the 50 plus mile an hour winds our soil is clay after 6 inches down so it anchored well and stays lit all night long on soft white even thru the recent snow storms we had after things had thawed out.. we got the outdoor post lantern a few weeks ago and got it up next to the driveway close to the kitchen door, it is great in the evening to sit outside and not have to move around to get a light to come on, we also got a shimmering light to go inside of it, and it looks like one of those old timey post you see in the westerns or old movies where someone had to go around and light up all of the street lights, and the glass being frosted it is just stunning. we love it....
