I love the fixture and it looks great. The best part is the translucent glass, which gives it a very nice look. The lamp is sturdy and the light bulb can be changed without removing the base. The glass globe used for these Lantern Heads is produced in Europe. Each glass is blown into a mold to attain the basic shape and then hand-painted. The opaque finish is applied in a technique to ensure durability. The inside of the glass is softly frosted to enhance the appearance.
