This light fixture is terrific. It is made of metal, no cheap plastic, and there is a beautiful engraving pattern on the glass, something I wasn't anticipating. They included the bulb, which is supposed to flicker I believe. The thumbnail photo of the listing makes the glass look smoked, but it is crystal clear! When I first purchased it for a pole I already have, I was concerned that the square base was the only option. I was wrong. You have the OPTION of square or round bases! I even took it to the pole and ensured it fit. Installation looks quite easy (the problem is the base of the pole on the snow covered ground, we have to wait until spring. But I am incredibly excited to see this assembled on the pole, and working in the yard. It will be a nice improvement to our exterior lighting in a subdivision that doesn't have any street lights.. This light fixture is a nice upgrade to our old one. It's larger and the tempered glass really adds some extra glow at night. The installation was fairly easy until the copper ground wire came undone from the fixture. It was attached with a standard clip but the clip was slightly loose. It was a pretty easy fix though. Just slid it back in and clamped the clip down with some pliers. The rest of the wiring was just fine and straight-forward. The instructions were very clear. It was packaged very well.. Julie.
