Brought this to replace lamp post we had over ten years that was in a planter they recommend not using the easy mount made for single heads but i did any ways install was easy and the lamp stayed upright with the 50 plus mile an hour winds our soil is clay after 6 inches down so it anchored well and stays lit all night long on soft white even thru the recent snow storms we had after things had thawed out.. This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. Only thing I would change would be an option for an off/motion on mode rather than just low light/bright motion. Love that we can put it anywhere we need more light.. Robert. Leroy, OH. This is a much needed light for anyone who has a back yard that is dark at night. I am so glad I got this. I have ordered a pole so I can place it in the middle of my back yard. I tested the lighting and it is very bright and can be reduced to a not so bright lighting. It has a remote control if you need to change the brightness or cut it off.
