Brought this to replace lamp post we had over ten years that was in a planter they recommend not using the easy mount made for single heads but i did any ways install was easy and the lamp stayed upright with the 50 plus mile an hour winds our soil is clay after 6 inches down so it anchored well and stays lit all night long on soft white even thru the recent snow storms we had after things had thawed out.. It is very nice however hardwiring is not an option for me. The small light that is powered by the solar battery does not put off very much light. It is very dim compared to other solar lights I have on my property. Since I was installing mine on a wood rail I had to find 4 screws that were long enough to fit the base.
