I’m impressed with this dusk to dawn outdoor lamp post. It wasn’t very hard to put together, and seems good quality. The problem I foresee is someone with no electrical experience trying to put it together and install it. My husband is an electrician, and I’m glad. I love the lights and they look great! Pictures of old and new. Note: I painted the bulb collar to coordinate with my other exterior lights. Just a couple of small issues: a) the lights came with 3 screws to attach to a post but I need to attach to a pier mount base (Castellanos, which I purchased at the same time) so they don't work. I am in the process of trying to find a way to secure them, and b) there is about 1/4" gap between the glass and the base so water gets in. The premium-grade aluminum feels substantial, and they have a IP65 waterproof/rustproof rating. They both worked brightly after only sitting in direct sunlight for 3-4 hours.
