This light fixture is terrific. It is made of metal, no cheap plastic, and there is a beautiful engraving pattern on the glass, something I wasn't anticipating. They included the bulb, which is supposed to flicker I believe. The thumbnail photo of the listing makes the glass look smoked, but it is crystal clear! When I first purchased it for a pole I already have, I was concerned that the square base was the only option. I was wrong. You have the OPTION of square or round bases! I even took it to the pole and ensured it fit. Installation looks quite easy (the problem is the base of the pole on the snow covered ground, we have to wait until spring. But I am incredibly excited to see this assembled on the pole, and working in the yard. It will be a nice improvement to our exterior lighting in a subdivision that doesn't have any street lights.. We had to replace one of our pier lights as it was broken during a renovation. We kept our fingers crossed that it was still in production and Wayfair had it! And wayfair had it at the best price!! The lights are expensive and the only complaint we have is that the finish wears off pretty quickly. In order to repaint, it’s a pretty intricate disassembly so we’ve been holding off. Also, be aware the shipping foam is weak and thin so the 3-part fixture on one of the pole lights arrived with broken glass and we have to get a replacement from WF.
