I am using this on my deck. Inside a large pot on a post. I will be planting a climbing vine in the pot. It is beautiful. It was a bit of a crafting project, but it turned out very nice. This lantern is perfect for the anesthetic and now I need two more! It looks very lightweight and elegant but in reality it is made out of die-cast aluminum and is pretty heavy! It is very sturdy made and looks like it is capable to withstand lots of nasty weather. The finish is matte black. Assembly is very easy, everything you need is included with a manual which was very useful for me. I did a little research snd think Edison style bulb would be perfect for the lantern.. Irinal.
