Best Beds With Reviews

I'm going into college and will be staying home to save money since I live quite close to campus, and I wanted to let go of old childhood furniture to have a more mature bedroom. (It's still a work in progress so excuse certain design elements, haha). When the bed first arrived, I have to say that I was very impressed by how beautiful the wood was. It looks to be of very nice quality and I did not notice any scratches or damage. Putting it together was very easy: the instructions were very clear, materials needed were provided, and there were not many complicated parts (plus each one was labeled to follow in the directions). Once put together, the only thing I noticed was that the slats were of a lower quality: the wood would bend if you pushed directly on it, but they're stable with the mattress on top. I can't say that excessive activity on the bed would be advised, I was very ginger even just getting into it on the first night seeing how the slats were, but I've become more relaxed and casual with my movement in it as the weeks have gone on. On wood floors I do notice it slipping just a bit, it's certainly not drastic, and there is a creak near the headboard on the right hand side that startled me every once in a while, but it's not really bothersome. Nothing indicates that it's going to fall apart any time soon. But overall I really love the bed! It's beautiful, it's comfortable, I couldn't be happier.

I shopped for a very long time for a bed before I found this, and I loved it the instant I saw it. I put it in my wishlist and shopped around a little more, but always came back to this one. When I was finally ready to order a badly needed new mattress, I ordered this platform bed at the same time. I couldn't be happier with this bed! It was very easy to put together. It took me less than 90 minutes, by myself, and needed no tools, though a rubber mallet would be handy just to help set the dowels fully into their sockets. Some of the pieces can be a little tricky to get the dowels set in place without that extra leverage of a hammer, but you dont want to use one that will damage the wood. All the pieces of wood were a light colour, with only a darker streak here and there, but I would not have minded if it was streaked throughout all the pieces, as I think that adds character to the wood. As it is, though, the bed looks clean and has pleasing, simple lines. Once the mattress is placed on it, it gives a floating effect, as designed. The queen-sized, 12" hybrid mattress I bought fits the platform bed frame perfectly, with a bare half-inch or so to spare on all sides. When lying down, the platform does not creak or move or give at all. It's very comfortable, and with the 12" mattress it's a perfect height from the floor - not too high or too low. The platform folds neatly to a small footprint, which is very useful for cleaning, moving, or storage, if one wished to purchase this as an as-needed guest bed. It would fit easily into one of my larger closets when folded. I have no complaints about this platform bed, and I would buy it again without question. I was anxious about ordering from Wayfair after hearing a number of nightmare stories, but this purchase went smoothly and with no problems. Delivery was prompt and the package was undamaged. All the pieces of the bed, including the hardware, were present and accounted for and in excellent condition. I am extremely satisfied with this bed. Very glad I went ahead and bought it.

It's a good bed, very solid so far. 1 star less is because of the assembly of this bed, which was not so easy, especially aligning the slats. It stays somehow, and I have a mattress on that now, it seems to be sticking in place so far. I liked the overall quality of the bed, does not make any noise like my old metal bed. Bought king-size, so enough space for me and my wife to sleep on it. Overall happy with this, expect the assembly, may be it was just me who couldn't align the slats. Update after a year and a half: I need to correct my earlier comments about the slats. A few weeks ago, one of the slats near the headboard dropped again (as it had a few times before), so I finally took a closer look and realized the headboard legs were assembled incorrectly! The left leg was on the right and vice versa, causing the alignment issue. After fixing this (yes, after more than a year), everything fits perfectly now. Honestly, clearer assembly instructions or identical legs could’ve saved this hassle, but now that it’s sorted, I’m changing my rating to 5 stars. The bed remains extremely sturdy and looks great — definitely a product worth recommending!

I had been eyeing this queen bed for months and decided to finally purchase it after reading reviews and looking at other beds that were nice but didn't have the unique, farmhouse look like this one! When I received the bed, I opened it after a few days because I was slightly intimidated about having to put the bed together by myself. The instructions suggest for two people to assemble the bed and even says an extra set of hands wouldn't hurt in addition to the two people. It also stated with two people it should take 1.5 hours to put the bed together. I did it by myself in 1 hour and 45 minute so I think I did pretty good. I will say an extra set of hands would have helped for one step (maybe two) but I managed to get it done and I was extremely impressed with myself. For safety reasons, definitely get help if you can. The instructions are very easy to follow! The bed itself is very sturdy and the design is exactly what I wanted. It's a beautiful bed and I believe it will last many years! The quality is pretty good; thankfully all of the pieces were intact and in the box. Nothing was damaged during shipping as everything was packaged perfectly! And, the bed arrived fairly quickly after I ordered it. I highly recommend this bed and will likely purchase the king sized bed in the near future. I did purchase a 12 inch mattress from another store and I think an 8 or 10 inch would also work fine especially to show off the detail of the bed. My 12 inch mattress is tall and I can still see the headboard just fine but it is almost taller than part of the foot board but no big deal! If you have been looking at this bed, go ahead and get it! You'll love it...and enjoy!

This was bought on sale to replace an uncomfy twin set at my 98 yr old mum's house that made it very difficult to want to visit her. I needed a simple queen bed frame that would accommodate a memory foam mattress with no need for boxspring. I needed it to be strong but inexpensive since it is not meant to be a forever bed purchase due to my mom's age. I am a 61 yr old woman and I knew I had to be able to assemble it myself so I did my research carefully. I'm happy I selected this frame as it checked off all my needs. It took me about 2 hrs to unbox it, make sense of the directions, and then assemble it all on my own. The instructions are visual and very easy to figure out if you are design & visually oriented. I laid the pieces out on the floor to mimic the diagram-- the pieces are numbered and everything lined up as shown. I liked that they gave me extra hardware "just in case" but I did not need it nor did I need the "ratchet" tool provided, just the allen wrench. I liked that the design incorporates velcro which makes it easy to place the wooden slats--- they don't tell you this but you will want to start the slat placement exactly where the velcro is located so that your first wooden slat is spaced away from the bed ends. I like that they also have double stick tape to help hold the mattress in place. I found that everything went together perfectly but that the legs take extra patience to align and attach if you are working alone because the location of the screw holes. Also, they don't mention it in the instructions but you have to loosen up one of the screws on the leg in order to slide it into the groove. If you slow down, take your time, and simply look at it all you figure it out as you go along. The bed is sturdy and has plenty of room under it for storage if you desire. I'm using a thick memory foam mattress with built in pillow top so the profile of the bed is a little higher than I originally thought-- if you want a lower profile bed keep that in mind when you order your mattress. Also like the warranty. Thanks!

Unlike the bad reviews I read prior my purchase of the queen size, McGovern Platform Bed By Mercury Row. The product I received came very well packaged, there were no damaged or missing parts. Also many of the reviews stated that parts of the bed do not stay tight after assembly and use. I have not found this to be the case, all bolts have a washer and a lock washer which prevents the bolt from loosening. So unless you are a complete dullard who can’t tighten a bolt with the easy to use ratcheted Allen wrench or the also easy to use regular Allen wrench, supplied by the manufacturer, there should be no issue with the bed loosening. On the odd chance that one or two bolts loosen, then tighten them! What a concept! They probably weren’t tightened enough to begin with. No issues with broken welds as one reviewer stated. If you have issues like that, then you have recourse through Wayfair for 30 days and then the manufacturers warranty. It’s not rocket science, guess they couldn't figure that out. Assembly was not difficult at all. I did it by myself, I’m in my mid 60’s, probably took an hour, between opening the box and unpacking the parts, checking the parts for damage and making sure they were all correct and assembly. Just follow the directions, they even make it easy for dullards, no words, just pictures. Another issue I saw complained about, was the weight of the box on delivery. Yes it is heavy, but what did they expect? Man up snowflakes! I carried the box in on my own. You are not carrying the box upstairs on you own. If the weight of the box with the bed parts inside is too much for you, call a friend or open the box and bring the pieces in one at a time. I guess those thoughts escaped some of the reviewers. Bottom line, the bed is fine for what it is and the price, you aren't spending seven or eight hundred dollars or more. The bed is sturdy, if you assemble it correctly, assembly is not difficult, can be done by yourself if you have an ounce of common sense. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt, you have to consider the source!

First opinions of this bed is that it's pretty sturdy and easy on the eyes. I didn't have any issues with anything not lining up. Only took about 30-45m to put it together solo. Almost took longer to get it all out of the box than it did putting it together. Then the only thing that was "difficult" was getting the wood slats just right with the velcro. The wood slats worried (and still kind of do) me at first. Seemed like they were (are) going to possibly snap in half. Guess only time will tell. There is "some" squeaking when I move just right at the right spot. But not loud enough or consistent enough to cause worry and/or wake ya up. I find the when you put a lot of weight on 1 specific board, that the velcro sound of the other side to be louder and more annoying than any squeaking it makes. But it too only seems to occur when you're putting a lot of weight (sitting) at just the right spot of one of the boards on one side of the bed. Both the squeaking and velcro sounds that I've heard, again, wouldn't worry about and pretty much expected, in my opinion. The boards also have 2 of the pieces that have a adhesive tape on it to prevent your mattress from moving. Although I kept mine on and mattress barely moves, definitely less than it did before sitting on my box spring. If anything changes, I'll update my review to reflect as such. But as it stands right now, I'd definitely recommend it!

So this is what happened...... Wayfair got the wrong buzzer code and when I called, I was trying hard to reinforce this matter but the receiver wasn't interested. Expected delivery was set for Monday December 30th but I noticed that there was an attempt made Friday December 27th -- in both instances, my buzzer code was NOT used. I found out Monday Dec. 30th night that FedEx did not have 1706 buzzer code, they had 17. Wayfair told me they had it but it was most likely cut off on the label. So I had to wait another day, December 31st and again, there was NO attempt made although correct buzzer code was provided and delivery was promised. I could not shop for groceries because everything was closed. I called Wayfair New Year's Eve and whereas I could not get a guarantee my product would be delivered; the Wayfair agent had me hold while she contacted FedEx and spoke to a familiar agent she knew from Wayfair. It was understood that FedEx would deliver the item on Thursday January 2nd and not to leave until item was delivered. OUR intercom system was actually down so FedEx driver called me (as he did on Friday Dec 27th) which is a very good thing and told me the intercom system was down. This was in fact true -- however, in the previous days, the intercom system was working because both my son and I double-checked. This feedback is very important because this sort of thing occurred when other products were delivered. Canada Post does NOT deliver to the door for apartment buildings. It is important that delivery people are able to access apartment buildings, access customers by phone if need be when intercom system is not working or buzzer code is wrong, and that they deliver to door because customers make purchases to have products shipped or make arrangements for large items to be delivered. Please heed this feedback because it is the 2nd statement I'm making so that you are better able to satisfy customers and work with FedEx. I do however really appreciate that the driver did make a call. He said after 3 delivery attempts, they would have called. I was the one that had to make calls to Wayfair to get Wayfair to call FedEx. Driver could be right, FedEx may still be the best option. He told me UPS would not deliver to my door in an apartment building; we all know Canada Post will absolutely NOT deliver -- not an option. I am unclear about Purolator -- it's been a long time since I had Purolator deliver an item, I'm sure I was not satisfied however. All in all, I gave everything a 5 star and I would like to make future purchases so please get this right.

Bought a king (blue). Reason for selecting this one Quality seemed pretty good. One thing to note compared to other beds is the slitseamfold that you can find on most beds halfway down the side rail. This seems like a side effect of the packages going design. You’ll see most beds come in one package with all the elements backed into the headboard for easy shipping. This means the side rails are folded in half which causes the seam. I would imagine this would weaken the bed at this point. This bed does not have that seam, and it’s proven because they ship this bed in 2 boxes and the side rails are not folded and in tact in separate packaging. Packaging Aside from the shipping being handled poorly (but not as poorly as other 1star reviewers it seems), I think this was a great purchase. The only qualm I have is that there was absolutely no padding between the 1 layer of cardboard and the actual product (see pics) so had the gashes on the box been any deeper it would have damaged the product. I got lucky hence the 5star review. Otherwise I would have been very upset. I took the risk and totally believe you risk what happened to the other reviewers. I also had a middle rail damaged (ever so slightly bent). I saw some other reviewers post some massive damaged pieces. So it’s a gamble with this one that it may or may not damage. I took the risk. Color The bed itself was not “blue” as I had ordered, but it was the gray I had imagined. The “blue” color is more of a cool dark gray or gunmetal if you will. It’s actually a pretty beautiful color I might say. Does not look “cheap” like some reviews said. The same gray I was hoping based on the very few pictures (I added some myself to help others out). It is NOT a navy blue, not even close. I think “steel blue” would have been a more appropriate color name. Materials I honestly can’t tell you if it’s real linen of polyester but it seems “tough” enough for me to feel like linen and not as synthetic. The stitch pattern is nice too. Comfort The bed is just high enough off the ground for my 5’0” wife to get onoff easily. The back padding could be softer but at least it’s better than our last wooden one. Size Our 12” puffy mattress fits like a glove, so much better than our last one that had about a 2” gap all around the bed where you can see the slats. No slats visible here! The bed fits about 1.25” inside to give it a clean look. On our carpeted floor there’s about a 5.5” gap underneath, I’m sure if we had hardwood floors it would have been 6”. The height with a 12” mattress from the ground is about 29”. Theres a 1” difference between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the headboard so we can push our mattress flush and have less chances of things dropping back there. Albeit that’s not to say it hasn’t happened already. But the height is such that I can reach my arm and fish for the phoneglassesetc. that fell. Quality For a lower priced bed the quality was pretty sturdy. Only used it for a day but I’m satisfied and think it will last quite a bit of time. Didn’t seem as rugged when I first started to build it, but it was pretty solid once I got the two middle rails on. Overall I would definitely recommend this to someone on a budget going for that modern cloth look! I would also recommend the “blue” color for everyone! I’m very impressed with this bed. We had a dark wooden bed from several years ago that was cracked and it would squeak every time you even shifted your weight. My husband couldn’t sleep. It was awful. I liked the grey of this bed and other people said it had a hint of blue so I thought it would work well with the room color. I was right! Pros very well made, beautiful finish and color, easy to put together, sturdy, and (best of all) no squeaks! Cons it is ever so slightly higher than our old bed. While this is not a problem for my 6’5” husband, it is a wee bit tall for my 5’ self. We have a box spring and a Nectar mattress so that factors in to the height. If you’re not using a box spring with this you won’t have a problem. You can see how much of the headboard this takes up in my photos, compared to other reviewers who are not using a box spring. The footboard is also very short. Again, if you’re using it with no box spring this will not be noticeable but I was just surprised at how tall the headboard was and how short the footboard was. But it’s not a big deal and at least now I don’t bump into it in the middle of the night and give myself unexplained bruises. At any rate, just buy the thing. It’s well made, a lovely color, and easy to assemble (my husband did it himself in an hour and he’s not the most DIY person on the planet). I will note that if you put the plugs in to cover the assembly screws you can not get them back out again to take this bed apart. We have had to move our bed several times for various remodel projects so we were cognizant of that. If you leave them out and either the headboard or footboard face the door, the brassy color of the screws is unsightly. We solved this by pushing the covers in just enough that they stayed but leaving a lip so we can grab on to them with pliers later. They look almost like raised buttons and your eye skips right over them. Just something to think about if you rent or may need to disassemble the bed for any reason.

Love this bed. Very well packed. Delivery was almost on time. The delivery came in two boxes; the first arrived on time; the other the day after due to an unreadable label. But, the customer support was top notch and I received text updates on the modified delivery time. The bed was easy to put together. The only suggestion I would give would be to label the back of the bed as the 'back'. My husband thought that 'this side up' meant that the backside also was to be turned towards the room. After an argument, that almost ended up in me assembling the bed by myself, over this issue and taking the headboard apart three times before my husband believed me, we finally got it right. But, the overall assembly process is straight forward. We did end up with more spare hardware parts, some of which were unexpected. But, not a big deal. My husband did have to drill a few small starter holes for some of the screws that were used to insert the two plates on the frame that held the middle board that allowed the slates to be installed. Otherwise, a screw driver is all you need. The bed is very sturdy due to the fact that the slats are actually screwed into the frame. We bought the queen bed frame and our queen bed fit perfectly with no space on the sides as some customers had issues with. We use a box springs and together with the mattress the bed covers the space between the bottom of the headboard and the frame. The only thing I would suggest would be to make sure you let the frame air out. We unpacked the bed in its entirety, took all of the pieces outside for at least 5 hours before we brought back inside to assemble. It does have a pretty strong odor when you first open it but with only a few hours of airing out, it was fine.

I ordered this mattress on a Friday or Saturday, it shipped that Sunday, and I received it the following Tuesday. This frame was weighty in the box but once everything was taken out it was much better to handle. All the pieces that were necessary for assembly were included in the box, along with some extra pieces for “just in case” situations, which I really appreciated. The whole assembly was fairly simple, though I would recommend having someone around for when you need the frame held in place while working in other areas because the final tightening of all the bolts shouldn’t take place until all the necessary screws are in place on the frame, which can make the frame awkward to work with. The only few issues I ran into was with the left side of the frame not being a perfect fit when trying to bolt the F frame to the headboard after flipping the frame over like the directions tell you to do. This issue added more minutes to my build time but after trying and retrying several times I did get the bolt to go in. All other screws were fine and tightened without issue. Secondly, the locks for the flats did not stay straight on both ends when I went to lock them in place, but I did eventually get them all in place. *All the locks work to keep the flats FIRMLY in place so make sure that you are ready when you put them in because they are not easy to undo, even though the manual says the frame is supposed be easy to disassemble for storage or moving. With all that said, I’ve been sleeping on my new frame for over a full week and I’m really satisfied with the frame. It is sturdy and only makes a slight sound at the top of the bed here and there when I get in it, but this is probably because I need to ensure a tighter fit to the headboard, otherwise all other areas of the bed are completely silent, thus far. The bed was pretty simple to assemble, the manual was straightforward and tells you the majority of what you need to know through the pictures included, and everything is well organized. The bed honestly looks even better in person and automatically gives the room it’s in a better look and feel. Very satisfied with my purchase!

Overall, I really liked this bed. Buying from Wayfair has historically meant dubious quality, so I read through hours of reviews to ensure the "perfect" bedframe for me. Pros: Shipping was decent given the pandemic. Received on time. The price was decent as well. There are an abundant amount of bed slats, ensuring solid support for the bed, and these slats are comprised of composite wood, ensuring sturdiness. The specs specify that this platform bed can support 1200 lbs for Queen, which I initially assumed was a typo, but I would rate it pretty sturdy (I doubt most people during quarantine would have the means of testing 1200 lbs of weight on their bed). The headboard is lovely and as pictured. Cons: My shipping box was destroyed when shipped and two pieces were bent upon receipt. It wasn't a huge issue (I just used pliers to bend them back). Because the slats are composite wood and the frame consists of metal, the entire package is pretty heavy (the entire shipment weighed more than me). You will probably need another person to help get the bed through the door. The plastic legs were terrible quality but I wasn't about to wait weeks for new ones when the existing ones worked. The slats do not necessarily fit into the frame very well so we had to hammer those into submission (literally). Overall, I got this to fit, so I'm a happy camper. There isn't a whole lot of space to fit things under the bed (6.25 inches) which seems to be a waste of space, given that the bed itself is elevated higher than that. Overall, the final product turned out well! I'm happy with my bed :)

I shopped for a daybed with a trundle that could be used for adult guests. Many of the daybeds I looked at were only rated to 150 or 200 pounds, which would work better as a youth/child bed. This one is rated to 400 pounds (225 for the trundle) which was the main reason I chose it. I love the versatility of having a trundle. If I have kids visiting (or adults who are not a couple), it's nice to be able to offer separate beds in my limited space. The trundle does not pop up which is fine with me. It simply rolls out from beneath the daybed. There are wheel locks on the trundle to keep it from rolling during use. The bed itself does not have wheels...it does have plastic protector pieces so you should not need floor protection if you place it on hardwood floors (ours is on carpet). I purchased very thin (6") memory foam mattresses for the bed. They are plenty comfortable, but there is room for a thicker mattress beneath as long as you don't have a thick duvet or comforter. The cream color and classic shape could be dressed in a country or traditional style, but it is not overly ornate so it will be just fine with my transitional/contemporary bedding. This is cream, not off white (I found it hard to tell from the photos on my monitor). The bed is very sturdy, especially considering the low price tag. It does not shift or creak when you lay down on the bed. The slats are close enough together to correctly support a mattress (including a memory foam mattress) without additional support. There is not room for a box spring so don't plan to use one. My husband assembled the bed and trundle in about 2 hours. He did not need help, though at one point it was easier to line the large pieces up with someone holding things upright for just a few seconds. The box was too heavy for him to lift up the stairs by himself, so plan to have a helper available to get it to its final destination. I definitely recommend moving the box to the final destination and then assembling. I think it is too wide to fit through a normal doorway once fully assembled. This was a great buy. For the price of a couple high quality air mattresses and electric pumps that often break, I now have two comfortable twin beds available for guests permanently set up in my home office. So happy with this purchase!

Extremely easy to put together. I bought this bed frame to go in the spare bedroom since I was refinishing the room for my mother who has dementia and I want to bring her home every second weekend so that she can have a break from the special care home… so I repainted all her old wooden furniture in a blue and grey and of course… she needed a new bed frame and mattress (I bought the mattress too on WayFair) but I couldn’t really find a blue bed frame so I glanced at this one and it looked like it’s easy to paint and sure enough, when I put it together I painted it the same blue as the dresser and grey (Blue side boards and grey legs) and it turned out great and now it matches the rest of the theme in the room. It looks amazing with the new quilt set that I bought and I bought bed sheets as well on WayFair… and they are the softest bed sheets I have ever seen. Mom almost didn’t get those bed sheets… I wanted them for me but I decided not to be selfish and I out a purple set of sheets in my WayFair cart for myself… ) This bed frame is very sturdy, I looked at the instructions quickly before starting and didn’t have to refer to them after that at all… very easy to put together… I did it alone with no problem at all… the slats stay in place with velcro and there’s a velvety trim on the side rails that is meant as a sound absorber for when you sleep and turn which is great and there’s even non-slide tape (it’s just two way tape but well thought of) on a couple of slats and when you’re ready to put on the mattress… you take the back off the tape to expose it and voila… the mattress is not supposed to slide out of place!! Comes with all necessary tools and some spare hardware. Allen Keys and a really cool ratchet like allen key wrench which I had never seen before so that was cool. I kept that one! )

Hi! I ordered a very pretty bed for my teen daughter, but we did not receive all of the parts that should have came with the bed — or so I thought. I contacted the website, and the representative was very helpful! They explained that the parts that I thought were missing were actually pre-installed onto the bed posts themselves. Since they are white, they were hard for these old eyes to see, so we were not missing any parts after all. The representative was very kind, patient, and helpful. Concerns: The cross-piece support beam legs do NOT meet the floor, even with the mattress placed on the bed, so I am not sure if this is a design flaw, but the rep said they would contact engineering for assistance on that issue and then get back with me. The bed comes with a long set AND a short set of support legs so that you can choose to have your bed sit higher or lower. That’s very cool! I did choose to set the bed on the higher setting, but even using the longer support legs, the middle support beam legs still seem to be about 2” too short. They do not meet the floor, so they can’t possibly add more support or help stabilize the bed. Design flaw? Waiting to hear back from engineering on that one. Overall, I was very happy with the way the rep tried to help resolve my concerns issue, but I am waiting to hear back after engineering looks at the images I’ve sent. Great customer service, I can definitely say that! The downside, and the reason for only a 4-star rating is the bed seems cheaply made and flimsy. The metal is not the highest quality, but for $150, I guess that’s what you get these days. I had a very similar bed (now an antique, so that is my point of comparison. That bed was “real metal” not this lightweight stuff you get in the stores today. In conclusion, my teen daughter loves it, and that’s what counts. It is a beautiful bed with a very pretty design. If I were buying it for myself, I would not care for it, but since it’s a gift for a teen, she seems happy with it.

Okay, I just got this frame yesterday but here is my report:It was listed on Wayfair. I'm almost 70 and, including the time to get it out of the box to getting mattress on top of it, all by myself, took 56 minutes. I could do it much faster now since I wouldn't be confused by some things. With this in mind, my problem was messing up the orientation of things. Two elements would have made it easier if I noticed them sooner.One was that some parts of the instructions would say "x2" or something. Meaning there were two times you did a particular step. I simply didn't look at that at first. The other was more important. Most of the pictures show a closeup of the connection, and then an overview, smaller, picture of the bed at that point - with checkmarks for where the part you are putting together are. I didn't figure that out until I was several steps in! If I had, I would have not have gone slower as I tried to figure out where the heck I was on the whole frame! They were kinda oddly formed check marks at that. I think it would have been better to use little arrows in the picture.Still, it wasn't a big deal. I first put everything together without tightening everything fully - just snug in case I had done something wrong and had to redo anything. Once everything was right, I went around and tightened everything firmly.Seems very solid. No squeaking or rattling at all.For the time being, I have not exposed the sticky tape on four of the supports that are for holding the mattress in place. I'm going to see how it does without that step. If it is a problem, I'll probably just expose one at each end. That way, hopefully, when I change mattresses in the future, I'll still be able to have "fresh" tape to hold it if necessary. As I said, I've seen this frame elsewhere online. But I live in Hawaii and, in every case except this manufacturer, they wouldn't ship this item to Hawaii and, for those which also had physical stores here, none of them carried it here!So I'm very pleased that they did. Yes, it did have an extra shipping cost, but even including that, it was much cheaper than anything I could find that was remotely similar locally. Best I could find was something that didn't seem quite as good, but would have cost me over $100 more!
