I absolutely love this Murphy bed! It’s high-quality and comes with very clear instructions. Based on other reviews, I knew it would be a time-consuming project, and it ended up taking me two days to assemble, about 10 hours in total. The trickiest part was mounting it to the wall. The instructions state it should only be mounted to concrete, but since my house isn't concrete, we had to adapt: we bolted 2x4s into the wall studs wherever there were mounting brackets, and then bolted the bed frame to the 2x4s. You can see one of the 2x4s in the second picture. Securely anchored in eight places, it’s rock-solid and isn't going anywhere. I plan to add paneling later to hide the 2x4 support board. We are extremely happy with how this looks in our TV room, and the addition of subtle lighting really highlights its beauty. I highly recommend this sturdy piece of furniture!. Lisa. Mckinney, TX. I really like the Murphy bed it was delivered on time and was in almost perfect condition. The item had one minor scratch, and it was easy to paint over. The bed was not easy to assemble, but I had help. It looks nice and is easy to lift updown. I received my farmhouse size Murphy bed with lights and charging station on the date stated when I placed my order. The directions were could have had better pictures as we found ourselves guessing on a few occasions and had to stop and redo steps on one occasion. The Murphy bed took two people a few hours to assemble and I love it! The online pictures do not do justice as it looks so much nicer in person. I love the shelf and LED lights and how easy it is to set up and tear down. Im on oxygen 24 hours a day and have very little strength and yet Im able to pull the bed down myself.
