Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026

I would give zero stars if I could. This product was a disaster. The wood was splitting instantly just gently putting in screws. The screws provided were breaking and needed to be replaced. The pieces were not cut accurately to fit together. We have pictures of all of this and even video showing the wood splitting upon contact. Wayfair’s only solution was to offer to send us another one - after we were already 3/4 complete and had spent hours gluing the wood back together, finding replacement screws, etc. This product should not even be on this site. And it’s my last purchase with Wayfair.. Martha. Oak Park, IL. Fri Mar 27 2026
