We love it It’s absolutely beautiful, only two issues. One was a warning sticker placed on the top of the cabinet, and it was a little bit of a pain to take off. Second was one of the panels pre-drill holes were wrong. I thought it was me at first, but I triple checked everything and I believe maybe these holes were pre-drilled for a different size bed. I have been looking on marketplace for a used Murphy breed for over a year now and then I came across this one and it was comparable in price to the used ones I had been looking at. I hesitated getting a used one because I would need to borrow w truck and then get help moving it, its used, may not be in the best condition, etc. But this one was delivered directly to my house, I did need help moving it inside but the separate boxes made it manageable and my 8 year old loves it! She thinks its the coolest thing to be able to close her bed up although I dont think we are going to do it often as a single mom in a budget I was looking to buy something that can work for a guest bedroomplayroom down the road. The boxes were heavy but everything was packaged well. I didnt have any trouble putting it together but did lay everything out and laid close attention to the directions so I didnt have to do it twice. I think this path of buying online was a better cover for my situation and worth the great price i feel good about my investmentss and my daughter thinks she has the coolest room EVER!. Laura. This Murphy bed is very nice. Assembly wasn’t too hard for a grandma just shy of 70. You would be better off with 2 people, the chest is heavy. It looks really nice. I’m very satisfied with it. Overall a beautiful and functional Murphy bed. Came well packaged in 2, heavy, boxes. As other reviews have stated, it takes a considerable amount of time to assemble, it took me a little over 3 hours. There were a couple steps that were a bit confusing and I had to go back and switch things around but for the most part, pretty good instructions overall. My only complaint is the bolts for the handles and knobs were just barely long enough, the first one I accidentally over tightened and it broke. Exercise extreme caution with the knobshandles.
