Slightly curved sides make it effortless to stir, flip, and serve, while oversized handles provide a secure grip for transferring from stove to oven to table. Crafted from our legendary enameled cast iron, the interior surface is finished with a black satin enamel that eliminates the need for the traditional seasoning and maintenance of raw cast iron. My second one! Perfect for crispy gyozas and even cooking. This is the second time I have purchased this sauté pan because the first one performed so well. It has become a staple in my kitchen for several reasons: Superior Heat Distribution: The heat distributes perfectly across the entire surface. Unlike other pans I’ve used, this one has a very uniform temperature, which is essential for consistent cooking. Crispy gyozas: I love making gyozas in this pan. Because of the even heat, they come out incredibly crispy every single time, which was always a struggle with my older, non-uniform pans. Durability: The pan feels very heavy-duty and resistant. To keep the nonstick surface in perfect condition, I always make sure to use specialized utensils (like silicone or wood) instead of metal. Highly recommended if you want professional results at home!. Kat. Belmont, MA. Thu Apr 23 2026

The pan that handles the awkward middle ground between a skillet and a pot. The Alva Maestro 4-Quart 5-Ply Stainless Steel Sauté Pan has the straight, high sides that let you brown meat properly and then add liquid without it going over the edge — braises, risotto, shallow frying, a one-pan dinner for four. Five bonded layers of stainless steel and aluminium run base to rim, so the sides heat as evenly as the bottom and a long simmer stays gentle. The uncoated stainless interior builds fond for the sauce and has nothing to peel or flake. The fitted lid traps moisture through the slow part of a braise. Oven safe to 500°F and compatible with every cooktop including induction. Dishwasher safe and metal utensil safe. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.
