Excellent pan. Unlike many other pans this one has the aluminum all the way up the sides rather than just on the bottom. This 5.5qt sauté pan is amazing. It is very heavy and durable. It heats up evenly and maintains the heat throughout the cooking process. As long as you preheat the pan to the proper level and add oil or butter food does not stick. After years of using nonstick pans and failing to properly sear, I am finally able to sear food properly with ease. Clean up is also easy. I’ve owned pans from a range of price points and the top even the most expensive ones. The pans heat so evenly and quick, they have a really great surface to cook on. We’ve made everything from eggs, to fish, to stir fry and these pans blew it out of the water each time. I love that they aren’t ceramic so they don’t get scratched so easily, but it almost seems like they are because of how easy to cook with they are.
