I think this pot is great, clean and with simple lines. I have made soup in it and it seems to heat evenly. This soup pot is absolutely gorgeous, heats beautifully, and is just the right size. The smooth shape of the two pour spouts is perfect--no dribbling or spillage. Note that the spouts are not covered by the lid, and the lid is vented as well, so this is not a suitable pot for braises or anything that needs a sealing lid.
