The bed is a lovely color and assembly was ok. Parts were missing and they ended up being essential to a side panel staying in place. 5 stars for the bed but unfortunately, the experience took much longer than it should have. Our first delivery arrived incomplete, with only two pieces of wood—more than half of the bed was missing. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. Overall what I was looking for. It was missing some of the screws but I expected that after reading the reviews. I also let it air out as it smelled very much like unfinished wood. Although I didn’t need to sand it, there were some splintery areas (easy fix though). I used my own screwdriver as the one they provided was child-sized (still worked just not for my hands).
