Arrived super quick. Box was a little mangled but thankfully, the contents are well packed so no damage. It took two of us less than an hour to put it together and it looks nice. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed in the headboard and footboard (the inserts). Very deceiving description to call this bed ‘solid wood’ since 80 of the headboard and footboard are quite thin and flimsy (think thick cardboard). Only time will tell how they hold up.. This platform bed combines a warm, rustic look with the convenience of a partially upholstered design. The distinctive headboard and footboard are hand-woven using strips of synthetic leather with a rich ginger hue, adding a touch of texture to your bedroom. Crafted from solid and engineered wood, this bed features wooden cross slats, a center rail, and center leg supports, eliminating the need for a box spring. We love how the wood surfaces are wire-brushed to simulate the raised grain patina of naturally weathered wood, giving it a cozy, lived-in feel. Just add your favorite mattress and enjoy a good night's sleep in style.
