Arrived super quick. Box was a little mangled but thankfully, the contents are well packed so no damage. It took two of us less than an hour to put it together and it looks nice. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed in the headboard and footboard (the inserts). Very deceiving description to call this bed ‘solid wood’ since 80 of the headboard and footboard are quite thin and flimsy (think thick cardboard). Only time will tell how they hold up.. Strong wooden slats keep the mattress stable without a box spring. Vintage gourd-shaped wood legs add charm and sturdy support. 2 people can easily assemble it in just 45 minutes with clear step-by-step instructions.

Love this bed. My only wish is that we had purchased it in black (I just wasn't sure if I could pull the trigger on the more dramatic color at the time). If you're on the fence, go with the black!!!! It looks great in the white/ivory color in our new house (so honestly, I'm very happy with the one we chose) and the tall headboard back is nice and stoic. The bed holds our thick pillow-top mattress well. Keep in mind your bed height will be a higher with a thicker mattress on it, unless you have a less cushiony mattress. I'm short so I have to jump a little to get on it, but I still love it. It's a very grown up bed and really elevates our room. Took some time to assemble but worth all the effort! The box it comes in is com pact...you will be surprised! No regrets here and great price for what you get!. Bianca. NY. Tue Oct 06 2026

Crafted from solid wood, this elegant bed blends medieval-inspired charm with Mid-Century Modern sophistication. Its clean lines and tapered wood legs define its timeless design, offering a perfect balance of retro flair and contemporary appeal. You can personalize your style by choosing between an upholstered headboard for added comfort and texture or a sleek, non-upholstered version for a minimalist look. The bed frame is beautiful! The walnut color is gorgeous, though this one did not come with the plush upholstered attachment. The wood creaks a bit when sitting/laying down, I went back and tightened everything which didn’t fully fix the issue. Instructions were straight forward and it was easy to assemble. Anna. Boston. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A..
