The box got pretty beat up in transit so I was worried it would arrive damaged, but despite that it seemed to be in pretty good condition. Box was insanely heavy so I had to open it downstairs and carry the parts up separately because I had no help. It took about 60-70 minutes to assemble by myself. Very easy to follow instructions. The bed itself is decent, it looks pretty for the price but it definitely felt a bit flimsycheap while putting it together. I love the bed, I have no complaints the quality is really nice. I was able to carry and assemble this without assistance so if you wanted to assemble on your own it is possible. This bed did not need a box spring, but I did add one for extra height. The pictures with the white bedding is how it looks without a box spring and the one with stripes is how the bed looks with a box spring.
