I am so happy with this Murphy bed! It is super sturdy and easy to go from cabinet to bed. You can do it with one person easier with two people. It has plenty of room for a fold up mattress inside. You can use the drawer down below. It’s a great size also would work to store extra pillows or bed bedding. I love the wood grain on top and the overall cabinet when it’s closed up is lovely. I'm very happy with this bed. It slides away and unfolds very easily. It took a long time to put together, but the instructions were very clear and every piece lined up perfectly. Looks beautiful! Some parts came damaged but got replacements super quick with no problem. When putting together you have to take apart the metal sliding tracks to install. Only part I got stuck on. You have to slide it twice before you can see the latch to release the third part. Also beware the metal parts have oil goop in the crevices. Gets on your hands when sliding them apart but washes off easily. Will have to buy another mattress to go with the one provided. Personal preference but the mattress it comes with seems thin. Takes forever to build but once it’s built it looks great, works well and is easy to pull the bed out and put back in. We got a trifold mattress to go with it and it folds up into the cabinet also. The drawers are slightly small and will probably only fit two pillows nothing else will fit inside the cabinet beside the mattress when it’s folded up so we will have to store some additional pillows some place else. It’s a big piece of heavy furniture and it’s perfect. Assembly was pretty straightforward and feels over engineered. The mattress that comes with it is quite thin but that’s based on my preference ! Functional but definitely doesn’t look like the pictures. Issues with wood cracking when putting together the base of the bed. Screws holding the front on are slightly too long or screw holes don’t grip the wood so there’s gaps in the decorative front.
