I was very nervous to purchase something off of here as it was my first time doing so. But I am super happy about this bed frame as someone that is extremely picky - about everything. This bed frame feels like good quality, legit furniture. It was also very easy to set up by myself. Directions were super straightforward and I only goofed up 1x during the steps. Took a little while for my husband and brother to assemble, but the results were amazing. This bed was purchased when we set up a green guest bedroom after our youngest daughter moved out post-college. Later, we gave the bed to our eldest daughter to refresh her teal bedroom in her little house ("casita") in southern Texas. She paired the bed with Boho Bouquet bedding -- also a gift from us, purchased on the Wayfair website.. Cheryl. Keller, TX. Mon Aug 03 2026

Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. The design features an elegant slatted headboard showcasing vintage-inspired turns details and a softly arching top, paired with a matching footboard to complete the look. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

Sleek steel and sustainable bamboo come together in this platform bed to bring you the best of contemporary craftsmanship. A solid bamboo headboard highlights the wood’s natural grain, perfectly paired with a black metal frame for a modern, balanced look. Designed for both style and durability, bamboo offers an easy-to-maintain surface, while the sturdy steel base provides reliable support. Wide, closely spaced wooden slats create a stable foundation for any mattress without the need for a box spring, and non-slip tape helps reduce movement and noise. Thoughtfully packed with all the tools and instructions for quick assembly, this bed is built for effortless setup and lasting appeal.

This bed was phenomenally easy to assemble, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I really liked how this bed came with a ratcheted Allen key wrench and a regular Allen key, and I really appreciated that the hardware came in already organized for you in a cardboard blister, so you didn't have to dig around for it in a bag. Instructions were really straightforward and easy to follow, and they also linked a YouTube tutorial to make things easier in case if the graphics were not clear enough. The only major downside is that the under-bed clearance is less than 5", which can limit your storage space, but if you prefer your bed low to the ground, then this bed frame is perfect! If I had to nitpick, then I'd say that the wood parts of the bed have this very strong "new cabinet" smell, but I'm sure that will resolve itself over time. In conclusion, this bed has pretty great value to it because the build experience was very pleasant, the bed looks beautiful, and it's very budget friendly! Would definitely recommend, especially if you get it on sale :). Tim. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

Exactly as described. Easy to put together. Feels sturdy.. Patricia. Allentown, PA. Tue Sep 01 2026

This actually feels very sturdy and was easy to put together. My 12 yo daughter helped me carry it up the stairs and put it together. It was her first time touching a screw driver and a good breeze could knock her over. So it really wasn’t difficult at all. We got this for our guest bedroom for when the grandparents come visit now that we have the space. I’m pretty sure this is actually solid wood. I definitely recommend this. It’s worth the price and I’m a little sad I didn’t pick this one for my own bedroom because it’s very stylish and easy to match.. Melody. Lakeland, GA. Wed Sep 09 2026

This bed is very solid and sturdy! The assembly was easy but time consuming as I put it together myself. It took a few hours. My only complaint is there was a small bubble of paint on one of the finials that flaked off leaving the metal underneath exposed. It had a bit of rust on it. Some touch up paint should solve the problem. This bed is beautiful and I’m very happy with it!. Lorraine. Maine. Mon Sep 28 2026

Purchased this queen bed frame for a vacation rental and so far we have been very happy with it. It is solid, well made and a great value for the price. It sits low but that’s what I needed due to a window nearby. I bought another frame for 100 less on wayfair and the quality was not great I should have just spent a bit more and gotten a second one of these, would buy again. Update this bed has a 600 lb weight limit (I overlooked this in the details) and it snappedbroke about 2 years after I bought it. I reapproved with a 10000 lb limit bed. Jennifer. San Diego, CA. It’s a nice heavy bed frame but the headboard is shorter than I thought it would be. Overall I think it’s a good deal, the color is beautiful!! It got lost in the mail the first time but Wayfair sent a replacement that came pretty much overnight. It had a little scratch though but it’s not too noticeable. Anonymous. Sat Oct 03 2026

Nice looking bed frame for the price. Very sturdy, though we added Masonite board under the mattress for extra support. Just be aware, though, that the footboard isn’t tall enough to keep the blankets from falling on the floor if they kicked off in the middle of the night. Knowing that now, I would’ve gotten a frame with a higher footboard.. Susan. Anaheim, CA. Thu Aug 06 2026

This 2-piece set of metal platform beds brings a vintage-inspired look to your main bedroom or guest room with its spindled headboards and footboards. Each bed is crafted from steel with a versatile finish that coordinates with various aesthetics. The design features rounded corners and classic joint details, offering a clean silhouette that works well in shared spaces. A series of slats and center support legs provide a reliable foundation for your mattresses without the need for a box spring. We also love that the open frame allows for convenient under-bed storage to keep bins and extra linens out of sight.

The assembly went quickly and smoothly, and the bed is just beautiful. It is much more lightweight than what a cast iron bed would be, and it gives the same aesthetic for which I was going for a fraction of the cost. Very comfortable, too.. L. New York. Mon Oct 05 2026
