It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. Absolutely beautiful in person. Very easy to build, took me about an hour before work. Used in my son’s room. The blue is a wonderful shade suitable for boys and girls. It’s also pretty sturdy once built, especially for the price point. I lay down on it frequently with my son and it handles the weight. I really like this solid wood bed frame. It looks beautiful and feels sturdy and well made. The wood color is warm and matches my room perfectly. The bed frame is stable and does not make much noise when moving. The wooden slats provide good support for the mattress.
