Took a little while for my husband and brother to assemble, but the results were amazing. This bed was purchased when we set up a green guest bedroom after our youngest daughter moved out post-college. Later, we gave the bed to our eldest daughter to refresh her teal bedroom in her little house ("casita") in southern Texas. She paired the bed with Boho Bouquet bedding -- also a gift from us, purchased on the Wayfair website.. Cheryl. Keller, TX. Mon Aug 03 2026

Size Purchased: California King Overall very content with this purchase. I live alone so assembly was a bit difficult but I managed by myself (6'4" dude), but for most buyers I'd imagine it would take two people to handle it. During assembly very important to leave bolts at joints loose so that they can be wiggled into tight fighting place at final stages. Prior to laying down the mattress on top, the smaller composite wood legs in the middle of the frame did not touch flush with the ground. However, with laying down the mattress and lying on it they support the weight and the frame feels sturdy/doesn't wobble. The design is simple and sophisticated, and I will update this review at a later date after using the bed for a year or so. Highly recommend!. Anders. Los Angeles, CA. Thu Jul 09 2026

The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. Its rounded curved headboard combines modern sophistication with ergonomic comfort, while thick padding creates a cozy, inviting feel. The sturdy slatted platform eliminates the need for a box spring, offering a sleek minimalist look. Delivered in two boxes, it assembles quickly for a stylish, functional centerpiece that enhances any bedroom decor.

This bed is more off-white or cream rather than white, which is what I was hoping for. The boucle is nice and the headboard is thick enough so that it doesn’t look cheap. It has a very low profile and I switched out the black plastic feet for some wood ball feet I found online. This gives the bed an extra designer look and gave it 2” more in height. Because I did this, I had to lengthen the middle support legs for the slats. Overall this bed is great for the price and is just what I needed for staging a guest bedroom.. Jennifer. Fri Jun 12 2026
