The design is very cool. Very modern. It’s a nice side, not huge. I’m a bit disappointed in the top. It’s hard to tell that it’s stone because it’s so thin and the finish is not smooth. It’s rough and has a pebbled glass feel to it. I’m sure it’s very scratch-proof and durable which is good. It just doesn’t seem quite as sleek as the rest of the table. Stunning table, but requires a project to make it safe at least for me! This table looks amazing and the top is much more durable than standard tile. It does feel like tile, but it is not. However, the manufacturer’s support board stops 6 inches short of the edge. This leaves the rim vulnerable to cracking if someone leans on it to stand up.
