Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. But I really like the stools, but the table that came with it was too large and dark. It took just a few days to arrive and was packed very well. It took just a few minutes to put together, and I did this myself. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is the top needs a coat of polyurethane, so it won’t scuff so easily. Quite the nice table. I got the unfinished so I could stain the color sine I can never tell if the color will be right when ordering online plus I wanted a dark base and a light top. I was happy to see that the top does not have those zig zag joints that are often popular with rubber wood. The grain is nice and the pieces of wood have a good color match. The table is sturdy and well made. Look up the directions from this web site for the assembly of base to top. Based on the above, I'd give the table 1 star. Original packaging was too damaged during assembly to return the item. I submitted a return request online based on the quality of the piece, to see what happened, and was offered a 20% refund without needing to return the item. I accepted the partial refund.
