Based on the first two photos online, the table legs appear to be solid square columns. In reality, they are two planks screwed into a v-shape. Based on the first two photos online, there are no visible screw heads. In reality, there are screw heads visible in multiple places from multiple angles. Lastly, when fully extended, there is an almost 1/2 inch sag in the tabletop when casually leaning against it, such as to brace yourself to stand up from a seated position. Based on the above, I'd give the table 1 star. Original packaging was too damaged during assembly to return the item. I submitted a return request online based on the quality of the piece, to see what happened, and was offered a 20% refund without needing to return the item. I accepted the partial refund. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. I searched for a LONG time, for a small white counter height table. I actually was searching for a table to go with the stools I bought. I know…. This seems backwards…. But I really like the stools, but the table that came with it was too large and dark. It took just a few days to arrive and was packed very well. It took just a few minutes to put together, and I did this myself. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is the top needs a coat of polyurethane, so it won’t scuff so easily. Quite the nice table. I got the unfinished so I could stain the color sine I can never tell if the color will be right when ordering online plus I wanted a dark base and a light top. I was happy to see that the top does not have those zig zag joints that are often popular with rubber wood. The grain is nice and the pieces of wood have a good color match. The table is sturdy and well made. Look up the directions from this web site for the assembly of base to top. Built on a sturdy triangular base with durable P2 MDF, it features easy one-person assembly for instant versatility.

This 47.2” Expandable Round Dining Table is actually a really unique and versatile piece. The design allows you to flip the tabletop and change the look, which is one of the coolest features. One side gives you a warm wood round table, and the other side creates a square marble-look top, so you basically get two styles in one depending on the vibe you want in the room. First thing to know is that this table is very heavy and substantial. Once it’s assembled it feels sturdy and solid, not flimsy at all. The pedestal base has a nice architectural V-style design that gives it a modern vintage feel and makes it look more expensive than it is. Assembly took several hours and it definitely wasn’t quick. There are a lot of parts and steps, so I’d recommend patience or having someone help. Once everything is together though, the table feels strong and stable. The expandable/flip-top design is clever and great for flexibility. It comfortably seats 4 people and can stretch to 6 when square, which makes it nice for small dining areas that occasionally need more seating. My main reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the seams and visible holes in the center of the tabletop design. Because of the way the panels connect, there are seams and small holes in the middle that are noticeable. It pretty much requires putting a centerpiece, tray, or decor in the middle to hide it. Not a huge issue for staging or styling, but worth mentioning. Overall, it’s a beautiful and versatile table with a clever design. It’s heavy, sturdy, and visually striking once assembled.
