This is a really nice and sturdy extendable dining table. It was pretty easy to put together it took about 1 hour for me and my husband to put it together. The directions were pretty straightforward and easy to follow. The table looks exactly as pictured I like that it can extend but we are going to mainly use it without it being extended. It is MDF..A step above cardboard. There are gaps in the pieces of the table where its joined together. Like when you see a leaf in the middle. And the base of the table keeps you from your legs going anywhere as they will be hitting the base. It looks good. But you can tell its MDF and not wood.. But I used high end chairs and it looks amazing but I know this table, won't last long. It was easy to put together. And if you want a nice looking table for a good price just get it.
