The wood grain has much more texture, and the finish is a bit darker than the item listing pictures indicate. I’m mixing woods in the room so the color is palatable. Delivery service was great. I searched around a while for a base with more visual interest and for the price this one checked the boxes. The surface finish has a less wood-like hand to it. Mango can have a different feel to it.
