Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Quite the nice table. I got the unfinished so I could stain the color sine I can never tell if the color will be right when ordering online plus I wanted a dark base and a light top. The table is sturdy and well made. Look up the directions from this web site for the assembly of base to top. I was specifically looking for an extendable table with legs at the corners that didnt look too plain. This table fits the bill nicely, but I will say that the color is much more gray toned than it appears on the screen. I actually like it quite well, but it has made it difficult to find a matching side table. There are also some minor defects in the finish on the tabletop, but not worth the hassle of returning.
