I've watched this table for several months. Seen it on other sites priced higher. When it finally went lower in price than I'd seen it, I bought it. It arrived to the local warehouse within 3 days (which was a Friday), then you need to schedule a day/time for delivery, which I did for the following Tuesday. The delivery guys were great, polite and friendly. Brought in the two boxes into my foyer (one was the base, the other the top.) I put them together myself (although would have been easier lifting wise, with a partner.) I was not able to get in one of the screws (there are 8 total) due to one of the predrilled holes being misaligned. I felt that I was able to get the other 7 tight enough, so am not worried about the stability of the piece. A few thoughts on the appearance and quality. It had a much heavier white wash on it than I was expecting....it almost detracts from the quality, making it look cheaper. In the pictures, it looks like a smooth warm pine...but in reality, it's a rough, white wash...and my expectations were that it was a heavy piece (and it's not light) but the wood feels lightweight not solid as the description states...it's hard to describe. As others have said, it is not sealed. I was prepared for that and will be sealing it as others have also said (water and oil marks are easily left after a meal.) I think I'm going to sand it first to remove some of the white wash, and then seal it. In the end, I'm ok with it...not as happy as I thought I'd be, but after putting it all together...I'm not going to break it down and return it. :). NML. Sudbury, MA. 2019-06-30 20:25:11
