We opted to set up the table at normal table height, but it comes with extra risers if you’d prefer to set it up at counter height. The table also includes a leaf to extend the table so it is a square - instead of rectangular. Loved the white glove delivery service. They set it up as a square and then took the leaf out. This a nice, small, lightweight table perfect for two. It was super easy to put together and only took about 10 minutes which included opening the box. I like the dark finish which goes well with the mid century style I like. While the base is sturdy I am concerned the table could easily tip over if a small child was to pull or try to balance while climbing in to a chair next to the table. Wow- this looks & feels like solid wood. I didn’t have high expectations for this as there were no reviews and it is wood composite, but since the dimensions were exactly what I needed (and hard to find), I took a risk, honestly thinking I would be returning it. Wow. Looks way more expensive that it is, feels rich & solid. I am so happy I purchased this and would recommend it on quality, style & accuracy.
