Love our new Kenia Extendable Table! Excited to be able to mix and match with the matching Kenia chairs and Allen’s Tufted Velvet chairs to seat 4, 6 or 8. We opted to set up the table at normal table height, but it comes with extra risers if you’d prefer to set it up at counter height. The table also includes a leaf to extend the table so it is a square - instead of rectangular. Loved the white glove delivery service. They set it up as a square and then took the leaf out. This is exactly what I needed. Unfortunately the first one I got, the drawer back piece was drilled the wrong way by the manufacturer, so the drawer was wonky. Thankfully, Wayfair has a part replacement service. They sent me a whole nother one for free instead of just the one piece as requested. I can make use of the extra table, but just a heads up to any future purchaser, that the whole debacle may end up spending you more time than desired to repair. As for the furniture piece itself, I do wish that the table top rested more on the leg, or was stronger, so company can more comfortably lean their elbows on the table corners.. Jimmy. The table is HEAVY, huge and absolutely beautiful! Even without the extension inserted, you can comfortably seat 6 people around it. I assembled it alone in 2 hours but I recommend having help as the instructions require you to put the giant table top flat on a blanket/rug, flip the base upside down onto the tabletop, attach bolts and then flip the entire assembled (super heavy) table right side up. I found another way to do it since I was alone but having someone help you will allow you to place the table top right over the base and add the screws from underneath. The sliding doors for storage underneath are a really nice touch. Also, the packaging for this table was beyond efficient-my dining room was piled high with cardboard and styrofoam. 5 trash bags just for the styrofoam alone!
