This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend.. Table looks great. Came slightly damaged which is disappointing. They could package the corners of the table with syrofoam to prevent damage during shipping. The table is study. The sliding function is very smooth.. Ruby. Miami, FL. Mon Sep 28 2026

It comfortably seats six people, making it ideal for both daily family meals and entertaining guests. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The whole process from start to finish was so much easier than I expected. I had been looking around for a while trying to find something that would actually fit the look I wanted, and I kept coming back to this one because of the black marble design and the wood base. I was a little nervous about ordering furniture online because you never really know how it’s going to look in person, but I’m so glad I decided to go for it. Ordering was super easy and straightforward. There weren’t a bunch of confusing steps, and I was able to place my order without any issues. The shipping was also much quicker and smoother than I expected. I really appreciated that it was delivered right to my door because getting larger furniture home can be such a hassle. Everything arrived packaged really well, and there was no damage to the table or the pieces inside. I always get nervous when ordering anything with a marble or marble-look finish because I worry about scratches, cracks, or chipped corners during shipping, but thankfully everything arrived in great condition. Assembly was another thing I was pleasantly surprised about. I was expecting it to be one of those pieces where you open the box and immediately regret buying it because there are a million pieces and confusing instructions, but it was actually really easy to put together. The instructions were simple enough to follow, and once I had everything laid out, it didn’t take nearly as long as I thought it would. The pieces lined up properly, and I didn’t have to fight with anything or try to figure out what went where. It felt like the kind of assembly that you can actually do yourself without needing to call someone over to help. And once it was completely put together, I was even happier with it. The pictures looked good online, but I think it looks even better in person. The black marble look is exactly what I was hoping for. It gives it a really nice modern appearance without looking cheap or overly plain. The wood base adds a little warmth and makes the whole design look more interesting. I really like the contrast between the darker tabletop and the wood because it keeps it from just looking like a big solid black piece of furniture. The color is also perfect for my space. I have a lot of gray, black, and darker colors in my home, so it fits in really well without looking out of place. I was specifically looking for something that would have a modern look but still have enough detail to stand out, and this definitely does that. It has a nice weight and presence to it without making the room feel crowded. I also really like the overall design because it looks more expensive than I expected it to. That was probably one of my biggest concerns when shopping online. Sometimes furniture looks amazing in the listing photos and then arrives looking completely different or flimsy in person. That wasn’t the case with this. It has a really nice appearance and feels like an intentional piece of furniture rather than something that was just thrown together. I’ve gotten several compliments on it already, and I’ve only had it for a short time. It completely changed the look of the space and pulled everything together. I love how the black marble catches your attention without being too much, and the wood base gives it that little extra detail that makes it different from other tables I was looking at. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the purchase. From browsing and ordering, to having it delivered right to my door, to putting it together, the entire experience was easy and stress-free. The product arrived in great condition, assembly was simple, and the finished piece looks exactly like what I wanted. I love the black marble color, I love the wood base, and I really love how modern and clean the whole design looks. I would absolutely recommend this to someone who is looking for a modern piece that looks stylish without being ridiculously complicated to assemble. I’m very happy I took the chance on it, and it ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. Definitely one of those purchases where you open the box, put it together, step back and look at it, and think, “Yep, I made the right choice.”. Anonymous. Sun Oct 04 2026
